The Scaffolding Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant design, erection, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding structures across the site. This role supports project execution by managing scaffolding teams, coordinating with contractors, and reinforcing site safety standards through audits, training, and inspections.
Position DetailsPosition Title: Scaffolding Specialist
Work Pattern: 5/2 Daily Basis
Reporting To: Safety Section Head
Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years preferred
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a scaffolding-related field
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise scaffolding activities including design, erection, and dismantling.
Act as on-site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for scaffolding operations.
Identify and mitigate scaffolding-related hazards through regular inspections.
Support site safety initiatives and promote a proactive safety culture.
Conduct scaffolding and safety training programs.
Develop, maintain, and review scaffolding documentation and procedures.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and third-party entities.
Perform regular audits and inspections for compliance with standards.
Submit reports covering safety performance, inspections, and incidents.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Quick decision-making under high-pressure environments.
Qualified and experienced scaffolding inspector.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools.
Thorough knowledge of CISRS, OSHA, ECITB, and CITB standards.

CISRS Scaffolding Supervisor or equivalent
NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent
