Job Description Insight Global is looking for a SCADA Instrumentation Technician. This role involves advanced technical work in operating, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting instrumentation, process control, and SCADA systems at water/wastewater treatment plants and lift stations. Responsibilities include electrical work (troubleshooting, programming), implementing and maintaining SCADA networks, installing and calibrating instrumentation, and designing control systems and training technicians. This person would sit 5-days onsite in the Bradenton, Florida area. Skills and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Technical training in electronics, instrumentation, and controls Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronic controls and instrumentation repair/calibration Valid driver’s license (Florida license within 30 days of hire) Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents Work in varied environments (indoors/outdoors, high noise, adverse weather) Lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights or underground Operate vehicles and respond to emergencies Knowledge of SCADA systems and components Water/wastewater treatment instrumentation PLC & HMI programming experience
