Functional / Operational tasks:
The SCADA junior engineer will report to a senior Scada engineer
Development of the control strategies, write PLC/DCS code (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Blocks), design HMI/SCADA interfaces, and specify hardware.
Implementation & Commissioning: Install, test, and start-up new control systems and upgrades.
Optimization: Analyze process data, use simulation, and implement advanced controls to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with hardware (sensors, actuators, networks) and software.
Collaboration: Work with electrical, mechanical, planning and operations teams.
Documentation: Develop functional descriptions, procedures, and maintenance guides.
QualificationsEducation: Education & training required:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering systems.
Programming: Knowledge in PLC programming languages (Ladder, FBD, ST) and HMI/SCADA software.
Hardware: Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus), instrumentation, and field devices.
Understanding of control theory, automation, and real-time systems.
Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, project management, and ability to work in fast-paced environments
