Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:

Project Engineering "SCADA Communication Gateway" for HVDC control & protection systems (Signal distribution between automation devices, handling of communication interfaces to subsystems and control systemsCreation and maintenance of project specific technical specifications, documents & manuals. Clarification of concepts and functions to be implemented with internal departments and external customers.Creation and administration of centralized control & protection signal databases, Coordination of signal dispatching between the various devices and locations. Configuration of centralized communication Gateways and further protocol convertersSystem integration and commissioning of the gateway in the test bed (Verification of proper communication between the various components including signal checks). Conduct/ support Factory Acceptance Tests with sub suppliers and customersTechnical support during commissioning phase.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or similarSeveral years of work experience in SCADA systems for control systems and energy transmission Experience in project engineering, customer clarification, working in complex teamsUnderstanding for SCADA systems as part of energy transmission system (Substations, etc.)Technical English

Know how

Automation technology Remote control interface, protocol converters, data concentratorsConfiguration of gateway devices / protocol convertersStrong background on Protocols for energy automation systems like IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, OPC, DNP,..) and the corresponding communication structures.Integration of subsystems in automation systemsSignal- and process - data processingSignal dispatchingUtilization of database systems for signal distribution.
