We are looking for an R&D Engineer for System Drives experienced embedded software developer to help us maintaining #1 position as global drives player. As a member of the Research and Development (R&D) team based in Krakow, you will be responsible for developing control software for our portfolio of medium voltage drives.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Research, development and productization of software for medium voltage drivesDesign of embedded real-time software using modern C++Involvement in the whole software development life cycle: requirements engineering, design, implementation, testing, maintenanceConducting product troubleshooting in the lab and in the fieldEffectively working with cross-functional teams including physics, control algorithms design, software and system engineeringOccasional international travel to our R&D centers or customer locationsQualifications for the role :
Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Automation and RoboticsAt least 3 years of experience in C++ development for embedded applicationsUnderstanding of drives and power electronicsGood written and spoken EnglishSolid understanding of configuration management, code versioning, release processes, requirements management, continuous integration and test driven developmentAdditional advantage would be proficiency with Matlab/Simulink or PythonSelf-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in an Agile team environment, with strong problem solving skillsStrong desire to learn and share knowledgeWe value people from different backgrounds.
