This position is responsible for all aspects of leading and managing a team of 9 Business Development Executives to deliver annual sales targets. The BDE’s are responsible for Small Business Sales to local small businesses in the Small Business Services segment ($500K-20M company turnover). 

The successful candidate will be responsible for individual and team capability development, phone mentorship, team pipeline management, forecasting monthly sales declarations and billings and all other activities associated with delivering and exceeding growth targets. 

 

Key deliverables: 

Lead the sales team to deliver a successful team culture through the development and management of training, coaching and mentorship, identifying performance gaps and developing appropriate performance management strategies.  Develop and manage sales efficiency strategies including key performance indicators for pipeline management, lead management practices, self-generation techniques, conversion rates and booked charge volume outcomes. Critical to the success of the individual will be the individual's ability to empower and engage individual team members to exceed goals. Align strategies with sales colleagues and share best-in-class practices, to ensure consistency and quality across the Small Business Services Sales (SBS). Effectively lead projects and initiatives demonstrating partner engagement, cross line of business collaboration, and change management to completion. Support the Director of Small Business Acquisition in leading key transformational initiatives across the broader Small Business Acquisition team. 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

Outstanding leadership experience with a proven ability to drive teams to deliver and exceed sales targets. Previous experience in establishing team and individual capability through effective coaching and mentoring in a phone sale environment A track record of leading change and building an impactful team culture Experience in developing and implementing critical initiatives Experience in Acquisition and B2B corporate sales
