The Saw Operator Operate operates saws and a variety of other machines to cut metal. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop and is located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and overtime is routine.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Pull raw materials, setup and operate pneumatic saw daily to cut metal. Remove burrs from machined parts using various hand and power tools. Polish and blend surfaces needed. Modify Tooling on grinding equipment as needed. Run CNC endcap turning/milling equipment as needed.
Use basic precision measuring instruments (using caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, etc.) to manufacture products to specifications and requirements. Read basic blueprints to manufacture products to specifications and requirements. Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data, Follower Tags, ATP, Scanning docs into QA scan, etc.).
Always maintain inventory accuracy of all products. Move materials and jobs to correct work centers as identified on routing. Work within SAP completing all necessary goods movement transactions. Perform other tasks as assigned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Familiar with types of machining equipment utilized in milling and turning metals. Able to work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals.
Required lifting weight: 35 lbs. Lifting frequency: Daily. Bending, lifting, sitting, standing and twisting for extended periods of time (a minimum of 8 hours or more). Able to load parts using hand tools. Pass a basic eye test. Good eye and hand dexterity.
It would be a plus if you have experience with:
Manual machining.
Following follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals, oils, and solvents.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
