Job Title: Saw Operator
Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Saw Operator in Bluffton's Aluminum cast house. In this role, you will take logs and billets and cut them to meet customer specifications. We are a tier 3 automotive supplier that processes scrap aluminum by separating it into different alloys, melting it down, and extruding the molten material to produce aluminum billets and logs.

ResponsibilitiesCut logs and billets to customer specifications using saws.Utilize basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.Input specific information into the computer system, requiring strong computer skills.Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products around the plant.Essential SkillsBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, ability to read a tape measure).Proficient computer skills for data entry.Forklift experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a hot and dirty environment.Steel-toed boots are required.Background in construction or manufacturing.An even-keeled personality capable of handling stress effectively.Foundry experience is a plus.Overhead crane experience is advantageous (training provided).Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in a hot and industrial setting with night shift hours from 7 PM to 7 AM. This is a Permanent position based out of Bluffton, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46800.00 - $48800.00/yr.
