**Job Title: Saw Operator - 2nd Shift**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Saw Operator for the 2nd Shift (M-Th Schedule). This role involves operating a saw to cut parts to the correct size, distributing finished pieces, and following engineered drawings. Prior experience is not required, but strong measuring skills and a positive attitude to learn are essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate saw to cut parts to accurate size.
+ Check parts for accuracy after cutting.
+ Follow work orders to prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Distribute finished cut pieces to the next department for material handling.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to use a tape measure with precision.
+ Skill in reading blueprints or engineered drawings.
+ Mechanically inclined and capable of machine operation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with production and fabrication processes.
+ Familiarity with hand tools, deburring, and grinding.
+ Knowledge of calipers and micrometers.
**Work Environment**
Work in a clean, well-spaced, and organized manufacturing facility designed to support efficiency and safety.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
