CGI is expanding its Space, Defence & Intelligence unit in Canberra and is seeking experienced Cleared Satcom Project Managers to lead complex satellite communication initiatives at the forefront of national and international space capability.

As a Satcom Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of satellite communication projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring performance, quality, and security standards are consistently met.
You will:
-Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Satcom projects across Defence and Space sectors
-Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve project milestones
-Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations
-Ensure compliance with Defence, security, and quality standards
-Act as the primary point of contact between clients, partners, and technical teams
-Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
-Contribute to strategic planning, proposals, and technical roadmaps to support Satcom capability growth
-Proven experience managing satellite communications or Defence technology projects
-Strong understanding of RF systems, satellite networks, and link budgets
-Experience working within Defence environments, including governance and secure project delivery
-Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
-Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technical projects on schedule and within budget
-Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred
-Active Security Clearance
