Position Overview:

At Boeing, we are looking for a talented SAP Supply Chain Functional Analyst to be based in our Melbourne office in a hybrid capacity. This role is to enable Boeing Aerostructures Australia (BAA) to gain as much value as possible from our SAP Supply Chain system.

Working Within Boeing’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) group, this role entails extensive engagement and management of internal customers and stakeholders. It involves analyzing both business and technical requirements to effectively drive key business objectives related to applications and infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, enhancement, and support of enterprise and custom-built applications throughout the entire software lifecycle.

Due to the International nature of the role and business as a whole, there may be the requirement to support after hours meetings and calls, however flexibility is encouraged.

About the Role:

Provide hands-on functional configuration and support across SAP supply chain modulesAnalyse current supply chain processes to identify improvement and automation opportunitiesGather business requirements and write functional specifications for system enhancementsTriage, investigate and resolve logged support incidentsReplicate issues reported in production to assist developers in coding fixesPerform unit and system testing, test defect fixes and system enhancementsCoordinate User Acceptance TestingPrepare training documentation and train end usersParticipating in continuous improvement and transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical best practices

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

2+ years of hands-on SAP SCM functional experience and expertise in one or more components of the SAP application portfolio as per below:

Logistics Execution & Warehouse Management (WM/EWM) (preferred)

Sales and Distribution (SD)

Procurement (MM-PUR/Ariba)

Materials and Inventory Management (MM-IM)

Finance and Controlling (FI/CO)

Prior experience with systems implementations, upgrades, configuration, testing, documentation and reportingStrong understanding of system integration pointsProven senior stakeholder and business leader engagement skills, including regular experience of developing, documenting and presenting briefs and project updatesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a geographically distributed teamApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

SAP certification in relevant modules
