SAP SuccessFactors - Lead Consultant
Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Lead Consultant/Architect with deep expertise in Employee Central (EC), EC Payroll, and EC Time, and strong integration experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The architect will lead solution design, integrations, and governance for end-to-end SuccessFactors implementations, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-performing HR solutions aligned with business needs.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

Lead end-to-end architecture for SAP SuccessFactors, focusing on EC Payroll, EC, and EC Time.
Define global HR architecture covering core HR, time management, payroll, and integrations.
Design scalable and compliant payroll and time solutions across geographies.
Act as design authority ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and Activate methodology.

EC Payroll & EC Time

Architect and configure EC Payroll, including Payroll Control Center, schema/rules customization, retro/off-cycle payroll, and finance posting.
Design and implement EC Time solutions (time profiles, work schedules, holiday calendars, time types, valuation, absence management).
Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory payroll requirements.
Integrate EC Time with EC Payroll.

Integration (SAP CPI)

Design and oversee integrations using SAP CPI between SuccessFactors, SAP S/4HANA/ECC, and third-party payroll/time/benefit systems.

Implementation & Delivery Leadership

Provide technical and functional leadership during implementation and rollout phases.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, HR, IT, and payroll teams.
Guide configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and deployment.
Support data migration, cutover planning, and hypercare.

Governance & Advisory

Define integration and architecture standards; review solution designs and configurations.
Provide risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Mentor functional consultants and integration developers.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Core Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in SAP HCM / SuccessFactors.
- 5+ years as a SuccessFactors Architect or Lead Consultant.
- Strong hands-on expertise in: Employee Central (EC), EC Payroll and EC Time

Proven experience in SAP CPI integration design and development.


Certifications (Preferred)

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification.
SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll Certification.
SAP SuccessFactors EC Time Certification.
SAP CPI / Integration Suite Certification.

Soft Skills

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Leadership mindset with mentoring and coaching capabilities.
Experience in global, multi-country implementations.

Nice to Have

Experience with Public Cloud S/4HANA payroll integrations.
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
Payroll compliance expertise across multiple regions (North America, EMEA, APAC).
Exposure to SAP BTP extensions.


CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000 - $145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
