SAP Senior Engineer (MDG) (f/m/d)

For our Department Digital-Technology , we are looking for a SAP Senior Engineer (MDG) (f/m/d) and reports to the position Head of Business System Engineering.

You will be part of an exciting and international team delivering technical implementations for S/4HANA, ECC, and other transformation projects.

We have embarked on our journey towards S/4HANA implementation. As an SAP Software Engineer, you will be reporting to the SAP Software Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions. The position requires strong technical expertise in SAP MDG and SAP ABAP area.  You will contribute to the implementation of enhancements and the maintenance of the SAP MDG system, while also developing and delivering solutions across SAP S/4HANA and ECC platforms. 

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

Design, develop, and maintain scalable SAP MDG solutions tailored to business needs.

Implement and enhance data models, workflows, and UI configurations within MDG.

Develop custom applications and enhancements using SAP ABAP, including BADIs, BAPIs, and user exits.

Configure and optimize Data Replication Framework (DRF) for master data distribution.

Integrate MDG with S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and external systems.

Implement Validation and Derivation Rules to ensure data quality and compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

YOUR PROFILE

Extensive hand-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

Proven hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

Strong knowledge of Data Modeling and Process Modeling

Experience in custom UIBB (FPM, Web Dynpro) and Workflow Configuration (SAP Workflow, BRF+)

Experience in Data Replication Framework (DRF) and Cross Domain Validation & Derivation Rules

Expertise in DQM (Data Quality Management) is added advantage.

Experience with Idocs and SOAP

Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 is needed.

Understanding of SAP HANA-based data models and performance optimization.

Experience with authorization concepts and Roles.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Fluent in English; German is a plus.
