The SAP SD/Retail Systems Engineer will provide functional and technical analysis as an SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) specialist, you will support S/4 HANA CAR System by integrating S/4 Hana, POS DTA and other Legacy systems.

This is a hands-on role, working directly with the business, System Integrator and technology teams and is accountable for the results of assigned projects and workstreams that focus on delivering initiatives.

This position sits on-site 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for CAR solution and support including ECOM and POS Sales AuditParticipate in the SAP CAR and S/4 HANA enhancement and roll-out and support projects and be responsible for the delivery of SAP solutions.Must have SAP Retail and CAR POSDTA hands-on design and configuration experienceExperience in working with End-to-End SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) & POS Data analysis including configurationRetail Master Data Setup responsibility and conversionStrong knowledge of CAR landscape design, data consumption, integration, and consuming applicationsExperience integrating with omni-channel – POS systems, E-Commerce systems and Financial SystemsPartners with different business teams on different data steps like mapping, transformation, extraction etc.Build and execute data validation and verification plan in support of testing and go-livePerform duties as assigned.
 

Basic Qualifications/Requirements/Skills

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Computer Science or Business equivalentMinimum of 5 years of SAP implementation experience preferably with a focus on Retail Industry or other relevant experience in the areas of Sales Audit, Retail POS Analysis, Merchandise Planning, etc.Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent teamMust have a strong overall knowledge of the SAP CAR solution, Sales and Distribution / Procurement (SD and MM)Able to collaborate with business and have a strong desire to excel.Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solvingAt least 2 full life cycle implementations in SAP S4/HANA CARProfessional demeanor and appearance are required for interaction with associates of all levels across the organizationProficient problem solving and decision-making skillsDetail oriented, organized critical thinker with strong analytical skills
 

Preferred Qualifications

SAP IS Retail implementation and AMS experienceStrong understanding of SAP Retail solution portfolio and product strategy.Knowledge in the following technical areas is a plus: SAP CPI, ABAP development/debugging a plus., IDOCsNice to have experience with SAP Forecasting with UDF and Demand Data Function.
