We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant to support our plant operations in Augusta, Sicily. The first 2 months will require full onsite presence at the plant, followed by remote work for the remainder of the engagement.
Workload: 5 days/Week
Location: Augusta, Sicily (Italy) - Onsite required for the first 2 months (Mon-Thur)
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
Work onsite in Sicily during the initial phase to support production planning and execution.
Confirm production orders in SAP.
Review, analyze, and resolve COGI errors (Confirmations with Goods Movement Errors) to ensure accurate goods movements in the system.
Collaborate with local teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Align SAP PP configurations with business requirements and production processes.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in SAP PP with both technical and functional expertise.
Strong knowledge of production planning, shop floor control, capacity planning, and MRP.
Proven experience in configuring SAP PP and troubleshooting COGI errors.
Understanding of SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
Business process knowledge in manufacturing environments.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Fluent Italian (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Based in Sicily is preferred; candidates able to travel weekly to Augusta for the first 2 months will also be considered.
