Job description
SAP PI/PO Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integration solutions using SAP Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO) to ensure seamless data flow between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Integration Strategy: Develop and implement integration strategies using SAP PI/PO platforms to enhance operational efficiency.System Analysis: Conduct system analysis to identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring smooth functionality across systems.Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance for integration projects.Development: Design, develop, and implement SAP PI/PO solutions, including custom Java/ABAP mappings and adapters.Testing: Perform unit and integration testing to ensure that interfaces function as intended and meet business requirements.Documentation: Document technical specifications, procedures, and operational guidelines for integration processes.Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and team members on SAP PI/PO functionalities and best practices.Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of integration solutions.
Required Skills and QualificationsEducational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience in SAP PI/PO development and implementation, typically requiring 3-5 years of relevant experience.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of integration concepts, middleware technologies, and SAP NetWeaver PI/PO tools.Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot integration issues effectively.Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Certifications: SAP certification in PI/PO is a plus and may enhance job prospects.
