The role of Partner Technical Leader spans technical teams across Germany and the United States, responsible for technical strategy, client engineering and deployment in addition to the client center in Walldorf. The role also acts as an advisor across IBM technology products and service lines, including RedHat. While the position is officially tied to Boeblingen, the expectation is the role will spend majority of time and effectively based in Walldorf. **Your role and responsibilities** •Worldwide, technical leader,with deep technical expertise and personal relationships with SAP. •Deeply understand IBM’s technology and roadmaps, and how to link to SAP’s strategy to provide value. •Accountable for accelerated growth of strategic IBM Technology Pillars: - Hybrid Cloud - Automation - Data •Influences SAP's technology strategy by articulating IBM’s technology capabilities in the context of SAP's business. •Works with the SAP and IBM ecosystem to achieve exceptional results. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Proven technical leadership within SAP * Strong reputation and network within SAP * Track record of successful technology innovations and implementations * Strong collaboration skills working with SAP and across IBM * Ability to communicate with c-level executives, explain in understandable ways highly contextual insights and benefits of emerging technology adoption. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Broad experience across SAP product lines * Some form of technical sales experience * Solution architect experience IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
