POSITION SUMMARY:
The SAP MM/PP Business Analyst is responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules within the SAP S/4HANA environment. This role ensures the optimization of supply chain and manufacturing processes, integration with related business systems, and delivery of best-in-class solutions to meet organizational objectives.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in a standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment. Works in team and individual environments. May work weekends and overtime when necessary. Ability to travel as needed, both domestic and international.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive digital transformation initiatives by leveraging SAP S/4HANA MM and PP modules to optimize supply chain and manufacturing processes. Champion process innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, and integration across procurement, inventory, and production planning. Serve as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, translating complex operational requirements into scalable SAP solutions. Lead cross-functional workshops to align business objectives with SAP capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with finance, logistics, and quality management. Develop and implement data governance strategies for master data management, ensuring accuracy and consistency across SAP MM/PP landscapes. Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, proactively recommending enhancements to improve throughput, compliance, and user experience. Mentor junior consultants and business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and SAP best practices. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to evaluate and integrate third-party solutions that complement SAP MM/PP functionality. Oversee change management activities, including stakeholder communication, training programs, and post-implementation support. Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards in all SAP MM/PP-related activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM and PP modules, including essential expertise in SAP S/4HANA. Demonstrated proficiency in the design, configuration, testing, and training of business processes related to SAP MM and PP modules. Proven track record in supporting SAP ERP systems and associated business applications. Experience collaborating with development teams on RICEFS objects. Expertise in business process mapping, with practical knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Visio, SmartSheet, or equivalent. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions. Proven capability to work productively within a team-oriented environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work setting.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. SAP certifications in MM, PP, or S/4HANA modules. Experience in project management or team leadership roles.
