Your Impact & Key Responsibilities as an SAP Logistics Consultant:
In this critical role, you will be instrumental in driving our SAP S/4HANA transformation, specifically focusing on SD (Sales and Distribution), ARM (Advanced Return Management), TM (Transport Management), or EWM (Extended Warehouse Management). Your responsibilities will include:
Translation of stakeholder needs into accurate specifications: coordinate and facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements, drive decision-making process and take ownership to define processes for SAP template solutionsImplementation together with internal and external IT and business team: Drive implementation and compatibility between the newly designed S/4 SD-based system and the remaining legacy management system architecture. Support in the creation of decision requests for RICEFW (necessary developments)Integration: Collaborate with teams for seamless integration of SAP SD with other modules (R/3 SD, GTS, EWM, ARM, TMS), applications and systemsStrategic Planning: Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for overall ecosystem- design and migration, focusing on warehouse relevant systemsStakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure architecture meets business and operational needsConfiguration & Customization: Support design eco-system architecture and configure/customize SAP SD to ensure compatibility with interface systemsTraining & Support: Support training sessions for users; document knowledge and implement enhancements. Project Leadership: Lead agile projects as a project manager or consultant, including guiding team members, acting as a trusted advisor, preparing decision proposals for senior management, and overseeing solution implementation. Agile Process Management: Support recurring agile activities such as wave planning, sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and sprint reviews to ensure project success.What You Bring to the Team:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled professional with:
Extensive SAP Expertise: Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA process design and successful implementation projects. Deep knowledge of at least one SAP module: SD, ARM, TM, or EWM. A strong understanding of international Supply Chain & Logistics processes (Order Management, Transportation & Customs, Warehousing, Return & Repair) and their interdependencies (e.g., with Quality, Finance). Project Management experience: Demonstrated experience as an effective project manager, ideally in an agile environment. Key competencies: Proactive, quality-driven, and results-oriented mindset. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to navigate complex environments and articulate solutions effectively. Excellent teamwork skills. Language & Travel: Fluency in English is essential; German language skills are a significant advantage.
