Job Description: SAP Hellenization Consultant

Location: 100% Remote (Europe-based)

Contract: 4 months (with possible extension)

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Hellenization Consultant to support our client on a contract basis. The consultant will play a key role in implementing and supporting SAP Greek localization (Hellenization), ensuring compliance with Greek statutory, tax, and reporting requirements.

This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in Europe and available to collaborate closely with global and local teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and support SAP Greek localization (Hellenization) configuration and implementation. Ensure full compliance with Greek statutory, legal, and tax reporting requirements (e.g., MyData, VAT, withholding taxes, electronic invoicing, SAF-T, Intrastat). Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, provide solutions, and resolve localization issues. Deliver fit-gap analysis, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Support month-end/year-end processes and statutory reporting specific to Greece. Provide post-go-live support and resolve any localization issues.

Requirements

5+ years SAP functional experience, with proven expertise in Greek Hellenization. s4/Hana implementation Hands-on experience with Greek localization topics: MyData e-books/e-invoicing reporting Local statutory reporting requirements Tax compliance and local accounting standards Experience in remote, contract-based consulting across multiple geographies. Excellent communication skills in English (Greek language skills a plus). Ability to work independently and deliver within tight deadlines.
