Upon completion of initial SAP Functional Academy learning path in Finances and Logistics, you'll start work within an implementation team on design and implementation of SAP solutions to our customers in various segment of market.
SAP certification would be an added advantage and something that is part of your learning path.
SAP Functional is responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into SAP system solutions ensuring that SAP functionalities are correctly configured to meet the organization’s operational needs. The SAP functional consultant has the key responsibilities: Work closely with client to understand their processes, pain points, and objectives. Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement using SAP solutions. Configure SAP modules according to business needs, using standard SAP tools and best practices. Develop test cases, perform unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Prepare functional specifications, configuration guides, training materials, and user manuals. Provide training to end-users and offer ongoing support for live systems, resolving issues and ensuring system stability. Work with technical consultants (ABAP developers, BASIS, etc.), project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver SAP projects on time and within scope
Essential Skills and Abilities
• Degree in Finances or equivalent certifications/experience
• Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies
