SAP FINOPS Tester
**About the role** As a SAP FINOPS Tester, you will make an impact by validating financial processes and integrations within SAP systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable testing solutions. **In this role, you will:** • Apply strong financial expertise to understand client financial environments and requirements. • Utilize SAP FICO to process accounting entries for core FI processes including GL accounting, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. • Conduct testing of FI-MM and FI-SD integrations and related accounting postings. • Perform planning and actual postings for Cost Center Accounting and Internal Orders, and reconcile results. • Reconcile financial entries across modules to ensure consistency and accuracy. • Generate and validate COPA reports for multiple plan versions and reconcile with actuals. • Support period-end close operations and post adjustment entries as needed. • Test data transfers of SAP financial postings to external systems (e.g., Essbase, HFM, Blackline) and ensure accurate reconciliation. **Work model** We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. **What you need to have to be considered** • 3-5 years of experience. + Experience with SAP FIN and strong FICO background. • Proficiency in processing accounting entries related to core FI processes. • Hands-on experience with GL accounting, Asset Accounting, AP, and AR postings. **These will help you stand out** • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. The annual salary for this position is between $44,834 to $86,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
