We are seeking a skilled FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) Consultant to join our team for a greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA in the midsize fashion retail sector. Alternatively, the candidate will provide support on other topics when internal resources are fully dedicated to this greenfield implementation. The ideal candidate will have the ability to design, configure, and implement solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that the SAP solution meets the unique needs of the fashion retail industry.

Key Responsibilities Solution Design: Lead the design and configuration of the FICA modules within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business processes and industry best practices for fashion retail. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to customer interaction, billing, bank statement processing, dunning and collection and other financial accounting processes. O2C Process Mapping: Map current Order-to-Cash processes and identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring efficient workflows in the new SAP S/4HANA environment. Configuration and Implementation: Configure the CI and FICA modules, including customer master data, billing processes, payment processing, and dunning procedures, to support business needs. Integration: Work closely with sales, finance, engineering and treasury teams to ensure seamless integration of CI and FICA with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM). Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate configurations, ensuring accurate processing of customer transactions and financial reporting. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on CI and FICA processes and SAP S/4HANA functionalities, facilitating a smooth transition to the new system. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure that the SAP S/4HANA system complies with all applicable standards and practices. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of CI and FICA processes, configurations, and user guides.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP CI and FICA consulting, with a focus on Order-to-Cash processes in the retail sector. SAP Expertise: Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the CI and FICA modules. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the fashion retail industry, including customer engagement strategies and financial accounting practices. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and apply it to business processes. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Project Management: Experience in managing projects, with a proven track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
Preferred Skills Experience in greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations, particularly in the retail sector. Knowledge of integration points between CI, FICA, and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM). Familiarity with data migration strategies and tools for customer and financial data AIF and BRF+ ( dunning configuration) tool knowledge
