The consultant will work closely with finance stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and scalable financial solutions aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Functional Consulting & Implementation * Lead and support SAP FI implementations and rollouts in S/4HANA * Configure and customize SAP FI modules, including: * General Ledger (FI-GL) * Accounts Payable (FI-AP) * Accounts Receivable (FI-AR) * Asset Accounting (FI-AA) * Bank Accounting & Cash Management * Design and implement New GL and Universal Journal (ACDOCA) * Translate business requirements into functional specifications * Conduct fit-to-standard workshops and solution design sessions * Configure: * Company codes and financial structures * Chart of accounts * Fiscal year variants * Posting periods and document types * Ensure integration with MM, SD, CO, and Treasury S/4HANA-Specific Responsibilities * Work with S/4HANA Finance innovations, including: * Universal Journal (ACDOCA) * Business Partner approach * S/4HANA Asset Accounting * Support ECC to S/4HANA Finance migrations * Perform Finance data migration and reconciliation * Implement and optimize Fiori apps for Finance * Support Finance Simplification Item List resolution * Assist with CVIs and data cleansing activities Reporting, Compliance & Controls * Design statutory, managerial, and financial reports * Support month-end and year-end closing processes * Ensure compliance with: * IFRS / local GAAP * Internal controls and audit requirements * Support tax, withholding tax, and local regulatory reporting Support & Optimization * Provide L2/L3 production support for FI-related issues * Perform root-cause analysis and continuous improvement * Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) * Prepare user documentation and deliver training * Collaborate with ABAP teams for reports, enhancements, and interfaces Stakeholder & Project Collaboration * Act as a key finance advisor to business stakeholders * Mentor junior FI consultants * Participate in project planning, estimation, and status reporting * Support global template design and rollouts **Required technical and professional expertise** * 5+ years of SAP FI experience, including S/4HANA Finance * Strong hands-on experience with: * FI-GL, AP, AR, AA * Universal Journal and New Asset Accounting * Solid understanding of FI integration with MM and SD * Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects * Strong finance and accounting process knowledge * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Technical & Functional Skills * S/4HANA Finance Fiori apps * Financial closing cockpit / advanced financial close * Profit Center Accounting integration * Document splitting * Interfaces and IDOCs (functional understanding) * Basic ABAP debugging and data analysis skills (preferred) **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with SAP CO or SAP Treasury * Knowledge of Central Finance * SAP S/4HANA Finance certification * Experience with global/multi-country rollouts * Exposure to SAP Activate or Agile methodologies IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
