To achieve this,  we are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant with a strong background in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing financial processes within SAP, ensuring seamless integration with other business functions. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles combined with deep SAP configuration expertise.

Key Responsibilities 

 

Lead and support end-to-end implementation and rollout projects in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) on ECC and S/4HANA. 

Configure and maintain FI modules, including: 

General Ledger (GL) 

Accounts Payable (AP) 

Accounts Receivable (AR) 

Asset Accounting (AA) 

Bank Accounting (BA) 

Tax Configuration (Indirect/Withholding Tax) 

Work on migration and conversion activities from ECC to S/4HANA (e.g., data mapping, CVI, financial data migration). 

Collaborate with CO, MM, SD, and HR teams for cross-module integration and process alignment. 

Prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements, reports, and interfaces (RICEFW). 

Perform system testing, user training, and post-go-live support. 

Provide business process improvement recommendations and contribute to finance transformation initiatives. 

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in collaboration with technical teams. 

  

  

Required Skills and Experience 

 

Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP FI experience (implementation, support, and upgrades). 

Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC FI and S/4HANA Finance (New GL, Universal Journal, Fiori Apps). 

Experience with FI integration to other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD, PP, HR). 

Proven experience in data migration, system configuration, and end-user training. 

Ability to write functional documentation and manage change requests. 

Exposure to SAP Activate methodology. 

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

  

Preferred Qualifications 

 

SAP Certification in Financial Accounting (FI) or S/4HANA Finance. 

Experience in Central Finance (CFIN) is a plus. 

Background in finance, accounting, or auditing (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred. 

Experience with SAP Fiori and modern reporting tools (e.g., SAC, Group Reporting). 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

Excellent documentation and presentation skills. 

Ability to work independently and within a multicultural, global team environment. 

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
