Short Description:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Data Migration Lead to spearhead the end-to-end data migration strategy from non-SAP systems to the SAP S/4HANA landscape. This is a client-facing leadership role that demands deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration skills to ensure seamless data transition and business continuity

Location: Melbourne (Vic), Australia

Salary: AUD 150742- 171215 AUD Annual Gross

Please Note:- The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:Develop and own the data migration strategy aligned with SAP Activate methodology.Define migration scope, objects, timelines, and dependencies.Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to gather legacy data requirements.Lead ETL processes using SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, and other tools.Manage staging tables and templates for migration objects.Oversee data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading activities.Guide and mentor data migration consultants and analysts.Collaborate with functional leads across modules (HCM, FI, MM, SD, etc.).Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and audit readiness.Implement data governance and validation frameworks.Address data privacy and compliance requirements specific to the education sector.Conduct workshops, status updates, and risk assessments.Liaise with SAP and third-party vendors as needed.
Skill / Competencies / Experience:


ESSENTIALGood knowledge of technology landscape to be able to guide team.Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.PREFERRED
10+ years of SAP data migration experience, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud migration toolsFamiliarity with education sector data structures and compliance standards.Experience with SuccessFactors, Ariba, and other integrated SAP modules is a plus.Experience with Greenfield implementations in public sector or education.Knowledge of Australian data protection laws and education compliance frameworks.
