The SAP COE IT Tool / Automation Expert leads the design and deployment of automation and AI solutions that optimize SAP S/4HANA operations and reduce manual workload across IT processes. The role ensures scalable, secure, and efficient system performance through advanced automation, proactive monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration. Goal of function: The IT Tool / Automation Expert is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation and AI-driven solutions that enhance SAP S/4HANA application maintenance, support, and operational performance. The role ensures efficiency, compliance, and scalability by automating repetitive tasks, integrating AI/ML capabilities, and optimizing workflows across functional and technical SAP teams. 1) Main tasks: Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for SAP S/4HANA application maintenance and development. Develop automated solutions for monitoring, user provisioning, role assignments, and system operations. Integrate AI/ML technologies to support predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and performance optimization. Monitor system health and proactively identify opportunities for automation-driven improvements. Ensure all automation designs comply with governance, security, and audit requirements.
