Position Purpose:
SAP Cloud Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining & improving SAP Cloud Instance for GATX India. This role is detail-oriented in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to manage, maintain, and continuously improve our GROW with SAP landscape. This role will serve as the primary liaison between business users, SAP support, and implementation partners to ensure smooth operations, user adoption, and value realization from our cloud ERP investment.

The SAP Cloud Specialist will work within Technology function and works directly with the Head of Technology to support digital transformation projects for various functional groups within the company. In addition, it is also expected that the candidate proactively drives initiatives and can support multi-level application integration. This is an individual contributor position and requires a candidate who is self-driven and thrives to work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications
Interaction: GIPL functional groups, SAP Consultants, Third-party vendors (incl. developers)

Act as the internal owner of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system post go-liveManage user access, roles, and authorizations in line with governance policiesCoordinate with SAP support and partners for incident resolution and service requestsMonitor quarterly SAP updates and manage regression testing and change impactSupport business users with training, issue resolution, and process optimizationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement enhancementsLeverage SAP BTP for reporting, analytics, and lightweight extensionsEnsure compliance with data security, audit, and regulatory requirementsMaintain documentation of configurations, processes, and change logsCollaborate with US and other internal team for SAP S/4HANA integration with various other applications
Education and/or Experience Required (including certifications):
3–5 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA (preferably Public Cloud)Strong understanding of SAP best practices and clean core principlesExperience with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and integration tools (e.g., SAP CPI)Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard workshopsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesSAP certification in S/4HANA Cloud (preferred)
