This role is responsible for shaping analytics strategy, defining solution architectures, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes in line with organisational and government standards. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and data specialists to enable data‑driven decision‑making using SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA, and integrated data platforms. • Lead the design and implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud solutions including dashboards, stories, models, planning applications, and predictive analytics. • Architect end‑to‑end analytics solutions integrating SAC with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, cloud data sources, and third‑party platforms. • Develop scalable data models, performance‑optimised calculations, and secure data access frameworks supporting enterprise reporting needs. • Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on analytics roadmaps, data‑driven decision‑making processes, and emerging SAC capabilities. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into technical designs and deliver high‑value insights. • Establish governance, standards, and best practices for SAC development, metadata management, and data lifecycle management. • Lead data validation, testing, and assurance activities, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and alignment with business rules. • Mentor and guide junior consultants, providing coaching on analytics design, modelling, and delivery techniques. • Engage with architecture, security, and data teams to ensure compliance with cyber, privacy, and government security frameworks. • Prepare and present high‑quality analytics artifacts including solution designs, technical documentation, prototypes, and executive‑level reports. **Required technical and professional expertise** • Extensive experience designing and delivering SAP Analytics Cloud solutions across large or complex enterprise environments. • Expertise in SAC planning, predictive analytics, visualisation design, data modelling, and advanced calculation logic. • Strong technical background in SAP HANA modelling, SQL, calculation views, and integration with SAC. • Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA or BW/4HANA data structures, reporting models, and analytical architecture. • Strong understanding of analytics governance, data security, and controlled information access within regulated or government environments. • Proven ability to lead analytics workstreams, influence stakeholders, and define analytics strategies and roadmaps. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex analytical concepts to both technical and business audiences. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Certification in SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, or cloud‑based analytics platforms. • Experience with AI‑enabled analytics, machine learning, or integrated predictive modelling within SAP environments. • Understanding of cloud data platforms such as SAP Datasphere or hyperscaler analytics technologies. • Experience working in Australian Government or highly regulated sectors.
