The SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) Lead will be responsible for guiding the design, implementation, and optimization of complex product configuration solutions using SAP’s Advanced Variant Configuration capabilities. This role serves as the primary expert on configuration modeling, pricing logic, and integration with manufacturing, sales, and supply chain processes. The AVC Lead will partner closely with business and technical teams to ensure that configurable products are accurately represented in the system and that end‑to‑end processes support efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. **Your role and responsibilities** The SAP AVC Lead will oversee the creation and maintenance of AVC models, including characteristics, classes, constraints, rules, and pricing. This role will collaborate with product engineering, sales, manufacturing, and IT teams to understand configuration requirements and translate them into robust system solutions. The Lead will define and enforce configuration governance, ensure alignment with master data and product structures, and support integration with upstream and downstream processes such as order management, production planning, and variant BOMs. Additional responsibilities include supporting testing cycles, resolving system defects, documenting configuration logic, and driving continuous improvement to enhance model performance and user experience.
