Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support a global energy company.The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in SAP ECC environments, strong analytical capabilities, and the professionalism required to collaborate effectively across global teams. Key Responsibilities •Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP developments in SAP ECC (RICEF objects). •Create and optimize reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms. •Develop and maintain Adobe Forms and SmartForms for business-critical documents. •Build and troubleshoot interfaces (File-based, Web Services, APIs, IDocs). •Implement enhancements using BADIs, BAPIs, and User Exits. •Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. •Provide clear progress reporting and proactively communicate roadblocks, risks, and dependencies. •Ensure developments follow internal quality, performance, and documentation standards. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development (7–10 years preferred). Strong expertise in SAP ECC systems. Good understanding of SAP integration techniques (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Web Services, APIs). Experience with SmartForms and Adobe Interactive Forms. Proven experience with Enhancements Framework (User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs). Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging tools. Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Workflow knowledge Knowledge of S/4HANA or CDS views
