What will you do?
+ Ensure the facility is compliant with customer and regulatory requirements for cleanliness while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
+ Responsible for hygienic condition of plant, warehouse, and outside grounds.
+ Maintain Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) for plant meeting Kerry guidelines, including downtime/changeover cleaning, periodic equipment cleaning, periodic infrastructure cleaning, and routine cleaning.
+ Maintain and write detailed SSOPs, following the 7 steps of sanitation, for all tasks in the MSS. Complete monitoring, verification, and sanitation/allergen validations.
+ Lead sanitation employees to clean facility using approved chemical solutions.
+ Maintain chemical inventory and purchasing of chemicals & cleaning utensils.
+ Manage pest control program.
+ Conduct internal audits as necessary.
+ Participate and lead cross-functional teams with production & quality.
+ Responsible to maintain proper documentation that meets all regulatory and customer requirements.
+ Recommend, develop, and implement new or improved sanitation programs or tools.
+ Technical knowledge and hands on experience with soil identification/chemical selection, dry clean tools and methods, COP, CIP, pest control, and allergen management.
+ Review and make recommendations for hygienic design improvement of equipment and infrastructure as needed.
+ Support environmental monitoring program.
+ Manage relationships with vendors including chemical suppliers, pest control companies, and others as needed.
+ Lead sanitation training program for site.
+ Support customer & third-party audits and follow-up on corrective actions.
+ All other duties as assigned.
What will you need to be successful?
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred or proven sanitation experience at a supervisor level.
+ Minimum 5 years of sanitation experience in a food / beverage manufacturing setting (dairy industry preferred).
+ Understanding of wet and dry cleaning /verification processes.
+ Working knowledge and experience with HACCP and sanitation systems (MSS, SSOP).
+ Strong leadership and communication skills, being able to work effectively cross functionally with other teams.
+ Availability to work off-shift hours (up to 40%).
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office. SAP is a nice to have.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $64,479 - $105,272 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
