Job Description
Join a leading Finished Product Pharmaceutical Facility as a Sanitation Technician, supporting the cleaning and maintenance of cleanrooms. This role is crucial in ensuring the sterility and cleanliness of our production environments, contributing to the creation of life-saving products.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine sanitization of aseptic areas and conduct environmental monitoring.Maintain cleanliness and sterility of cleanroom environments and equipment.Participate in event response and deviation investigations as needed.Record and review data in batch production records (BPRs) using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Provide input on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other controlled documents.Train peers in sanitization procedures and cross-functional systems.Follow all safety and environmental protocols in daily operations.Support process alignment across Aseptic Core Sanitization, Cartridge and Vial Filling Lines, Wash & Sterilization, and Formulation.Essential SkillsExperience in bioworks, manufacturing operations, and biotechnology.Exposure to and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing.Healthcare experience or previous manufacturing experience (GMP).Additional Skills & QualificationsPharmaceutical, food, medical device, or cosmetic industry experience is a plus.Previous housekeeping or sanitation experience is preferred.Bioworks or Associates in Biotechnology is advantageous.Work Environment
This position operates within a manufacturing environment, requiring 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. Initially, training takes place on the day shift from Monday to Friday, with a transition to night shift if applicable. The work environment is currently high-demand due to workload, but offers strong support for new team members. Scrubs and close-toed shoes or work boots are provided. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
