Apply today and you could start as soon as this week. **As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from:** + Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your area + Great benefit package options + Get matched to jobs quickly. + Competitive pay and steady schedule + The ability to see your schedule and track your hours right from our easy-to-use app, JobStack! **Pay Rate:** _The pay rate for this job is $15 - $16 / hour*_ **What you'll be doing as a Sand Plant Associate :** + Assist or serve as back-up for bagger, forklift operator and stacker with bagging and wrapping pallets (requires lifting and stacking 50 lb. bags on pallets) and securing the load + Operate forklift/front-end loader safely and efficiently and report mechanical or safety issues to supervisor + Assisting with sand plant operations and maintenance with regular climbing up to 70 ft + Maintains the sand plant area clean and free of debris, includes shoveling and sweeping + Able to have regular, dependable, and punctual attendance + Must be flexible to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed + Must be able to perform work outdoors in inclement weather conditions (i.e.: hot, cold, rain) + Performs other duties as assigned **Available shifts:** Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) **Job requirements:** + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + Ability to work under extreme outdoor temperatures or conditions for extended hours of time. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operating procedures and maintenance rules or instructions. + Ability to follow instructions and quickly learn to operate equipment (forklift/loader) + Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition. + Ability to communicate effectively with others and demonstrate team spirit. + Must be able to add, subtract, and know basic units of measurement. + Must be able to wear all required personal protection equipment (PPE) to perform required tasks + Requires lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 100 lbs. maximum, with frequent carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
