Established in Olsztyn in June 2015, the HUB now supports most countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. **Sanctions Screening Manager** is a senior-level role responsible for effectively managing teams in operational tasks, applying in-depth sanctions knowledge to covered processes, and contributing to the development of innovative techniques and processes for Sanctions Screening operations.
Please note this is a fixed term position.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee the sanctions investigations process for the RFI EMEA (Request Further Information) Team. This includes managing controls, distributing work effectively, and allocating team capacity appropriately
+ Manage the team's workload to ensure we meet both policy requirements and business needs
+ Set clear performance expectations for the team, provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and address any performance concerns promptly
+ Track the team's progress, identify key trends in our operations, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to relevant stakeholders
+ Continuously observe and analyze operational trends within Sanctions Screening Hub (SSH) and propose solutions to improve process efficiency and overall quality
+ Collaborate with ICRM (Independent Compliance Risk Management), technology, and client operations teams to develop and test innovative solutions
+ Propose and implement solutions that boost operational efficiency, improve the client experience, and reduce overtime
+ Ensure that all requirements are clearly defined, and that business and client needs are fully met throughout the development process
+ Proactively assess risk in all business decisions, demonstrating a strong commitment to protecting Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets. This includes driving compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to company policy, exercising sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency
+ Provide sanctions-related support to various businesses both within and outside the Sanctions Screening Hub
**Qualifications:**
+ 4-6 years of experience in a related role to Sanctions Screening and management
+ Effective verbal and written skills (C1 English level and above)
+ Effective communication skills
+ Ability to work under time pressure
+ Strong analytical skills, data analysis
+ Organizational skills, ability to solve problems
+ Intermediate to high knowledge of excel (macro, power query, data analysis, data visualization) and presentation preparation
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Sanctions certifications (CSS, CGSS, ICA, etc.) are welcome
