Eurofins Agro Testing is an accredited Agricultural testing laboratory that specialises in Soil, Plant and Water testing with laboratories located in Hindmarsh South Australia, Belmont Western Australia and Burleigh Heads Queensland. Our client base includes farmers, agronomists, rural retailers and research organisations with our samples originating from all across Australia.

The Sample weigher is responsible for the accurate and timely weighing of samples into vessels for their various test types.

Reporting to the Weighing Supervisor, the role will focus on:

Accurate weighing of samples for our various test typesEnsuring quality of work output so that there is no cross contamination of samplesEnsuring set weighing KPI’s are met or exceededEnsuring work area is kept clean

Shift work roster

We operate on the following shift structures and ideally you would be available on a rotating basis Monday to Friday:Day shift 8 hours between (7am – 6pm)Afternoon shift (3pm – 11pm) 15% loading applies

Qualifications

Are you looking for exposure in the Science field  Would you like to be working in an active role and have a keen eye for detail? Then this may be the role for you!

The ideal candidate will be:

Reliable and ideally able to work a shift roster during peak periodAble to follow procedures with high attention to detailHave excellent numeracy skillsWilling to work as part of a team with emphasis on quality and safetyPrevious experience working in a fast-paced environment (e.g., fast food/hospitality/warehouse) would be highly regarded/beneficial for this role.
