Receive samples, unpack coolers, label containers Scan shipping documentation, and perform sample login Assist Analytical Services Managers with Sample Group set up, Bottle Orders, and login reviewProduce bottle kits, add preservatives to containers, and perform Shipping and Receiving duties. Organizing walk-in refrigerators and sample disposal queueClean equipment, such as glassware, coolers, sinks, tables, samplers using solvents, water and detergents or acids according to Standard Operating ProceduresPerforms sample disposal, waste accumulation and other related waste disposal dutiesManages subcontracted work to outside labsAs assigned take warehouse inventory, assist in receiving, stock and rotate inventory and refill workspace stockPerforms sample disposal, waste accumulation and other related waste disposal duties.Performs routine duties throughout the laboratoryshipping department which would be responsible for:Prepare and send out bottle order kits Pour off bottled water samples received from clients in Large counters into appropriate bottles for the lab to analyze. This would be like a splitter function.Collecting subcontract bottles to be sent to other labs for analysis, packing them, and sending them to appropriate sublab.Cross train in login role below as back uplogin which would be responsible for:Triage samples once received to the lab and make sure all sample acceptability criteria is met (such as samples submitted on ice, temp requirements satisfactory, etc)Login samples into our LIMS systemLabel samples and put them into the correct location in the walk in fridgeProvide subcontract samples to shipping department to be processedCross train in shipping roles above as back up

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
