Our proteomic sciences solutions are redefining the understanding of human diseases through advanced protein biomarker discovery. With our innovative Olink solutions – including highly specific and validated assays that cover more than 5,000 proteins – our colleagues and technology empower scientists in groundbreaking research that will play a pivotal role in the future of personalized medicine.
In this role you will manage the daily sample handling activities within the AS laboratory, ensuring accurate reception, processing, and delivery of laboratory samples. The role is based in our Uppsala office on Salagatan 16A.
Drive process improvements in sample handling and coordination, working in close collaboration with lab, Quality, and PC.
Ensure all updates and changes to processes comply with the Quality Management System (QMS), laboratory procedures, and established quality standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving laboratory efficiency and service delivery.
Evaluate operational progress, find opportunities for improvement, and provide structured feedback to the reporting manager.
Serve as a role model for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Policies, Guidelines, Values, and Health & Safety standards, ensuring compliance and encouraging a safe working environment.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Software Development, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Minimum 2 years of detailed laboratory experience.
At least 2 years of applicable experience in coordinating or enhancing processes.
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Proficient communication abilities in both Swedish and English, capable of engaging effectively with customers and colleagues.
Customer-focused approach with the ability to cultivate positive relationships internally and externally.
