We have an excellent career opportunity for a Sample Coordinator to join our Clinical Pathology team in Greenfield, IN.

Schedule: This is a full-time 1st shift position. Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $18-$22 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

Position Summary

The Sample Coordinator performs a variety of sample management tasks, including labeling, shipping, transferring, inventorying, archiving, and disposing in support of departmental operations.

The essential job duties are:

Reviews sample paperwork against samples to ensure accuracySolves problems independently, contacting internal or external clients for clarification as neededCommunicates confirmation of sample receipt to clients, if appropriateHandles internal and external customer inquiries and requestsDistributes sample information and paperworkResponsible for entry and accuracy of sample tracking systemsMaintains storage unitsPerforms other related duties as assigned


Education/Qualifications/Experience:

Associate’s degree in Life Sciences preferred, HS Diploma required.Prefer 1+ years of experience working in a laboratory environment, hosptial clinal laboratory experince with sample accession and processing helpfulExcellent customer service skills including attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication skillsAbility to use a variety of computer applications and proficient at the department specific software usedExcellent documentation skills
