The RTX Asset Management (AM) organization is looking for a Software Asset Management Technical analyst to support the Enterprise Infrastructure Services Asset Management Program(s). This role will coordinate delivery of Software Asset Management technologies across RTX. This position will collaborate, shape, and assist in the ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation, by driving SAM AM technologies solutions in a Systems of System approach for Business requirements utilizing RTX harmonized systems and practices. This position will interface between Systems Owners and RTX Corporate AM teams. This will position will ensure integration and automation opportunities are realized related to Asset Management systems & tools. Responsibilities include system to system enhancements and automation improvements to the Asset Management System. Drive systematic and tool improvements and recommend innovative solutions to business challenges. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, process oriented, analytical, and have excellent collaboration skills. This lead position is self-motivated, friendly and has a passion to support customers in an efficient and effective manner.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities include:**
+ Provide requirements input and aid the development and implementation of standards, processes, and tools throughout SAM lifecycles.
+ Proficiency in utilizing ServiceNow's Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro) tool.This includes competency in managing software licenses, optimizing software usage, and ensuring compliance with software agreements.
+ Implement and maintain the ServiceNOW SAM Pro module, ensuring it is configured correctly and meets the organization’s needs.
+ Ensuring effective tracking and management of software assets across the organization.
+ Strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance.
+ Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
+ Understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to software asset management.
+ Enforce policies and procedures for software asset management, including procurement, deployment, usage, and retirement of software.
+ Provide training and support to team members and other stakeholders on software asset management best practices and the use of ServiceNOW SAM Pro.
+ Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into software usage, compliance, and optimization opportunities.
+ Collaborate with Systems and Tools owners to enhance Asset Management System capabilities to support business requirements.
+ Map and rationalize Software Asset Management variables and attributes between various systems & tool sets.
+ Optimize and simplify Asset Management System capabilities to enhance AMS user and process experience.
**Experience/Qualifications – Required:**
+ 8 Years’ Experience in Asset Management Service Operations with BS or BA Degree or Advanced Degree with 7 years’ experience desired.
+ Proficiency in ServiceNow SAM Pro module and related ITAM/ITSM tools.
+ This position requires strong executive presence, project management and systems knowledge of asset and service management solutions (Tanium, Axonius, Eracent, ServiceNow, SCCM, VCenter, etc.).
+ Experience working with all levels of a large organization globally including cross-business teams globally and external vendors.
+ Proven skills in process documentation, improvement methodologies, change management, and project implementations.
+ Results-oriented with strong written and oral communication including presentation skills.
+ Ability to deal well with ambiguous and undefined problems.
+ Strong business acumen, data management, analytical and negotiation skills.
**Education:**
+ Advanced Degree or BS/ BA General Management, Information Technology, Computer Science,
