About the role
Sally, a division of SBH, is looking for a qualified intern to join our Merchandising Team. The Intern will be responsible for assigned Merchandising projects during the 10-week program.
This intern should be prepared to work cross functionally, have exceptional organization and communication skills, and be able to work effectively and with detail in a fast-paced environment. A final presentation to senior leadership (topic TBD) will be required at the end of internship.
You will finish this internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Merchandising.

This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work three days per week at the Support Center in Legacy West, Plano, TX.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not provided.Availability is required from June 1 through August 7, 2026, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.
Primary Duties
Provide System Maintenance to products including cost and price changes and item maintenance
Assist in COOP management and tracking
Work with vendors to request New Item Forms and assist in New Item and Allowance set up.
Assist in Promo Entry and Marketing Pagination. Actively manages the buying process ensuring that all deadlines are adhered to. Manages the promo pricing process to ensure accuracy.
Supports Category Management Process by researching, analyzing, and drawing conclusions to provide a concise, logical merchandising focus. Collaboratively builds and executes strategic business plans to ensure overall success of the category. This may also include AD-Hoc or weekly reporting.

Working conditions & physical requirements
Location: Hybrid | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday at the Sally Beauty Support Center, Legacy West (Plano, TX); Remote Thursday or Friday
The typical working environment is in the support center office, and the work is sedentary. Typically, the associate may sit comfortably to do the job. However, some tasks and activities may be walking, standing, bending, carrying light items such as papers, files, books, and small parts, driving an automobile to a store location, etc. These activities are not frequent and do not require significant physical demands to perform the work.
While involving everyday risks or discomforts, the work environment is designed with standard safety precautions. These precautions, typical of offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, residences, or commercial vehicles, include using safe work practices with office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, ensuring the safety and comfort of our associates.
