The Salesforce Product / Business Owner connects business needs with Salesforce delivery for Residential HVAC (RHVAC). This role owns the product vision, roadmap, and backlog to ensure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions deliver business value. The position partners with teams across digital, IT, customer experience, sales, and marketing to turn business priorities into scalable solutions that improve performance, adoption, and customer outcomes.
What you will do:
Own and manage the Salesforce product roadmap and backlog for RHVAC, aligning enhancements with business goals and user needsServe as the voice of the business by gathering requirements and translating them into actionable user stories for development teamsPartner with Agile teams during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to clarify priorities, scope, and delivery timelinesValidate that Salesforce solutions meet business requirements, support strong user experiences, and deliver measurable valueCommunicate priorities, progress, enhancements, and best practices to stakeholders to drive alignment, transparency, and adoptionLead a team of approximately four individuals, with accountability for team development engagement, and overall performance.What you will bring:
Bachelor\u2019s degree in business, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of experience in customer experience, IT, business systems, or related fieldsExperience with Salesforce platform capabilities, implementations, and CRM best practicesExperience in a Product Owner, Business Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role managing backlogs, user stories, and deliveryExperience with business process improvement, integrations, reporting, and large-scale platform adoptionKey Competencies:Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and business goalsBusiness-focused problem solver with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirementsAbility to prioritize features, assess trade-offs, and drive value deliveryAbility to navigate ambiguity and turn complex issues into actionable plansStrong stakeholder management, collaboration, communication, and influencing skills across cross-functional teamsContinuous improvement mindset with a focus on accountability, results, and business impact
Preferred Qualifications:Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Business AnalystExperience supporting RHVAC, customer experience, sales, marketing, or digital business functionsExperience working in Agile product delivery environments with cross-functional business and technology teams
