Salesforce Platform Manager

Working model: hybrid / remote

Contract type: contract of employment / full time

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce/Certinia Platform Manager to oversee enhancements, adoption and support for the EMEA PDS. In this role, you will serve as the essential bridge between business users, business management and the product team, ensuring optimal utilization of the platform throughout the project lifecycle. Your focus will be on Certinia but you also need to understand CRM process in Salesforce and financial process in PeopleSoft.

You will place significant emphasis on the financial governance aspects of the tool while working closely with Data Controllers to ensure process compliance and regional alignment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for Certinia and SF platforms in-business support across EMEA, troubleshooting issues and providing resolution or seeking assistance from global support.

Maintain deep understanding of the Certinia platform's financial functionality, data structure, and integration points with PeopleSoft and Salesforce CRM

Support financial governance of the platform, cost tracking and invoicing processes adhere to the best practices ensuring good data quality.

Partner with Data Controllers across regions to enforce consistent financial data entry standards and processes.

Monitor latest Certinia and SF developments and enhancements, communicating changes proactively to stakeholders.

Partner with Training and Change Management lead to design and deliver role-specific on-going training sessions. Develop and implement training programs for Data Controllers focused on financial controls and best practices.

Develop and help maintain in-tool Certinia and Salesforce reports.

Identify and address local variations in platform operating processes and usage, driving toward standardized financial processes

Gather, document, and submit business requirements for platform enhancements providing detailed substantiation for change requests and manage follow-up through delivery.

Support adoption and work to ensure proper tracking of time, as well as scheduling, invoicing, and costs capturing in the system.

Participate in regular platform governance activities and contribute to strategic roadmap discussions


Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with Certinia (formerly FinancialForce), Salesforce or similar PSA platform.

Good understanding of project financial management processes and workflows

Experience working with Data Controllers or similar finance roles across multiple locations

Understanding of PeopleSoft financial system and Salesforce/Certinia as well as integrations between these systems.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate and simplify complex technical and financial concepts for varied audiences

Proven track record of supporting business users and managing stakeholder relationships

Proficiency in report building and data analysis

Problem-solving mindset


Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce and/or Certinia platform experience

Experience in professional services industry

Background in project management, finance or accounting, project management

Change management experience

Knowledge of EMEA PDS business operations

Personal Attributes

Goals

Own EMEA Salesforce and Certinia platforms, manage enhancements request backlog, align with other PDS regions and liaise with the Product Team

Identify critical financial workflows, document to align with other regions and deploy process trainings for Data Controllers.

Organise and drive monthly update meetings for Data Controllers.

Create and maintain baseline PDS countries reporting.

Train local teams on reporting to improve self-sufficiency.

Make yourself first point of contact for support questions for Data Controllers and Users.

This position plays a critical role in maximizing our investment in the Certinia platform while ensuring business users and Data Controllers have the support and guidance they need to effectively manage projects, maintain financial controls, and drive business outcomes consistently across all regions.
