About The Role:
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and executing marketing automation solutions that deliver personalized, data-driven customer experiences. This role works closely with marketing, sales, and technical teams to translate business objectives into Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) campaigns, journeys, and automations. The Specialist leverages expertise in Marketing Cloud tools, data management, and analytics to optimize engagement, improve campaign performance, and support overall digital marketing strategy.
Duration:
This role is a 6-month contract with expectations to convert to a full-time employee at the conclusion of the contract.
Compensation:
$52/hr to $58/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Skills and Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with marketing and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective Marketing Cloud solutions.
· Build and manage email campaigns, customer journeys, and automations using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and Advertising Studio.
· Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports and dashboards to track campaign performance, user engagement, and overall marketing effectiveness.
· Create and manage data extensions, audience segmentation, and subscriber lists to enable targeted communications.
· Develop dynamic content, personalization logic, and A/B testing strategies to optimize engagement.
· Use AMPscript, SQL, and HTML to configure advanced personalization and automation.
· Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
· Monitor and analyze campaign performance, delivering actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
· Partner with Salesforce admins and developers to integrate Marketing Cloud with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other platforms.
· Maintain documentation of campaigns, workflows, and technical processes to support knowledge sharing.
· Stay current on SFMC product updates and digital marketing best practices to recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, or related field.
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
· Experience integrating SFMC with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or external platforms.
· Proficiency with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
· Familiarity with mobile, SMS, and multi-channel campaign execution.
· Strong understanding of data management, segmentation, and campaign reporting within SFMC.
· Experience with HTML, AMPscript, and SQL for email and automation customization.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
· Proven track record of delivering successful digital marketing campaigns.
· Experience with Agile methodologies using tools such as Jira.
Preferred:
· Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Administrator certification. Preferred:
