Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

As a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering to drive scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance operational excellence and support Cisco’s business goals. Your Impact In this role, you will be a strategic partner to the business, translating complex requirements into effective Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and Scrum teams to define, design, and deliver user stories and features that improve the customer and partner lifecycle. Your expertise will help shape the future of Cisco’s Salesforce platform and digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers and partners to gather, refine, and document detailed business and technical requirements.Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira, ensuring clarity and readiness for development.Partner with engineers to validate technical feasibility and contribute to solution design, focusing on configuration and declarative development.Support Salesforce administration tasks including solve, system maintenance, and deployment processes.Drive the delivery of Salesforce projects by managing user stories, coordinating with Scrum Leads, and supporting sprint planning and backlog grooming.Conduct solution reviews, demos, and walkthroughs with business partners and technical teams. Cisco ConfidentialProvide operational support during testing, hypercare, and post-deployment phases.Stay ahead of with Salesforce releases and recommend improvements to enhance platform capabilities.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator configuration including custom objects, validation rules, workflows, and user profiles.Demonstrable ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions within Salesforce.Experience with Salesforce configuration including custom objects, validation rules, workflows, and user profiles. 


Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and middleware tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Advanced certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certifications.Ability to work independently and multi-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
