Major Responsibilities/Activities:Set a vision and strategy for BU sales training team resulting in active support and participation by the team and stakeholdersProvide continuous developmental feedback to team through formal and informal review sessions to improve overall team and individual performanceSupport team with career/growth planning and skill development to reach their goals.Lead talent management: recruits, retains and promotes a high performing teamBe the expert on products strategy/knowledge and their related markets in areas of responsibility in order to provide quality training and skill programs that meet the needs of respective BUIdentify and correct sales personnel deficiencies in product knowledge, selling skills, management and leadership skill to strengthen productivityTake lead to reinforce field utilization of integration of product strategy, knowledge, skill with field coaching and value added workshops after phase trainingTake lead to identify skill needs required by sales region to successfully compete in the rapidly changing marketplace and introduce these skills to BU commercial teamBe a role model beyond the BU sales training team to partner with RSM and DSM/Rep leadership and functional competencies to ensure that they have capabilities to meet both short/long term business goals, especially focus on new or high potential DSM/RepConduct team to take lead to work with RSM to analyze evolving business opportunities/issues and develop region-specific training workshops/processes to promote areas sales strategiesConduct team to take on additional projects as assigned by sales training team and/or RSMBe partnership with BUDs and HR team to identify trends in industry and design specific business and talent development projects to build future focused capabilitiesLead team to work closely with BU sales and marketing team to create, execute, evaluate BU specific learning and development projects for real business needsLead team to participate in new BU product and market development activities to provide customer/commercial focus and to assure that the sales force in prepared to rapidly execute entry to new product lines and marketsLead team to work closely with BU sales team leader in the design, development and delivery of field training programs for new product launches, existing products and skill training; participate in the delivery of training at regional or national business meetingsConduct team to measure the effectiveness of BU and sales region related training programs and toolsWork closely with global training team to conduct global capability building program local implementation to DSM/Rep
