In this role, you will be responsible for improving performance and productivity of our Inside Sales and CSM teams - the teams who bring SumUp’s ecosystem to small businesses and support their ongoing growth and adoption of our products. We’re growing our merchant base rapidly, in new markets and with larger merchants - so your training will help our teams empathise, understand and build credibility with potential and existing merchants.
What you’ll be doing
Implement new joiner onboarding sessions, to learn and engage with our products, our ideal customer, and the key skills for their role
Design and deliver live training for existing SumUppers in our Inside Sales and CSM teams, on both product and sales skills
Measure the effectiveness of your training through assessments and shadowing
Work with Team Leads and the EU Training Manager to build out and deliver programmes to improve the performance of existing sales reps and CSM - in sales volume, quality and multi-product sales of the SumUp ecosystem
Follow-ups with new hires and their Team Leads as they ramp up their sales performance
Ensure up-to-date knowledge, product positioning and insights are included in continuous learning for new and existing Inside Sales and CSM SumUppers by engaging in cross-functional collaboration with Sales Enablement and Product teams
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in sales training delivery, with a strong track record of leading engaging in-person and virtual sessions, including active facilitation and role-play assessments
Previous experience in a full-cycle inside sales (inbound preferred) or account management role in fast-paced, multi-product sales environments
Skilled in value-based selling and up/cross-selling, with the ability to create, adapt, and deliver training materials tailored to evolving sales strategies
Proficient in digital learning tools and platforms (e.g., LMS), sales systems, and integrating self-learning content to complement live training programs
Confident in managing shifting training priorities while collaborating with Sales Managers, Product, and Enablement teams
Excellent communication skills in English - additional EU languages are a plus
Ability to travel for work within the UK and EU
