This is an entry-level position accountable for supporting the sales organization through training, analytics, and process support. Ultimately, this role is to ensure that our sales team can function effectively and meet the company’s and our customers ' objectives. Meant to help the sales team focus on selling, thereby contributing significantly to the company’s revenue goals. This position is responsible for maintaining processes related to key sales functions, account support, and phase-in support. This position will provide support to all NA Flavor locations, as needed. **KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:** + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Strong customer interaction skills + Information Seeking + Excellent listener and communicator + Highly organized + Ability to collaborate with many different teams and personalities + Decision-making skills + Empathetic **DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED:** + Utilize available systems and databases to support sales and the broader business (LEAD, BW, Salesforce, etc.) + Provide coverage for the team when traveling or out of the office + Coordinate and assist with sales-related activities cross-functionally + Provide support for phase-in entry and business case reviews + Assist with onboarding and training of account managers + Assist with sales manager inquiries into territory performance + Support the RFI and RFP review process + Understanding of processes that take a formula from development, through pricing, and upload to the system + Approach changing, challenging situations with a focus on customer satisfaction and ADM’s best interest + Develops a clear understanding and working knowledge of ADM products and services + Understands and has strict adherence to corporate compliance policies & safety systems & programs + Ensures that individual goals are aligned with company goals + Works to attain positive, cooperative relationships with internal colleagues across divisions & responsibilities + Portrays a positive image of the company and self when interacting with internal and external stakeholders + Perform other duties as required\\ **REQUIREMENTS:** + Minimum of two to four (2-4) years’ experience in sales or sales support. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. + Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal & external customers. + The ability to hear and speak clearly; read, comprehend, and communicate orally and in writing; and to effectively communicate in person, by telephone, and in written form. + Computer competent, with demonstrated ability in the use of spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software. + Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with basic mathematics skills + Working knowledge of a CRM system such as Salesforce + The individual must be committed to corporate ethics policies & safety programs. + Position requires sitting for prolonged periods, heavy phone use, and standing, bending, kneeling, and operating a keyboard.
