Sales Support Engineer (fix term- 2 years)

We are looking for our new colleagues to the Sales Support Engineering Team, who will be responsible for offer quotations support for Emerson Sales offices across Europe and ensure requests are handled at a high quality, accurately and in time.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Review Requests for Quote (RFQ) received from Emerson Sales offices across Europe
• Collaborate with sales teams, factories and project management to understand and execute customer requirements
• Providing alternative solutions
• Selection of most appropriate supplier - quote requests
• Define proper manufacturing location considering product type, capacity and lead time.
• Select the appropriate technical documentation
• Specify a delivery time for the selected products
• Verify the Purchase Order (PO) to ensure that it is according to the offered financial and technical proposal
• Creation of Bill of Material (BOM) for purchase order and start the item setup process where necessary.
• Act as a liaison between sales offices – factories – customers
• Provide general support for sales offices
• Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of products and applications
• Draw-up specific activity reports
• Maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
• Work systematically and professionally in a well documented manner in accordance with the company rules and procedures including adherence to trade compliance (export / import and supply chain security) regulations entirely.

For This Role, You Will Need:
• College/University degree
• Intermediate level of English
• PC literacy
• Knowledge and understanding of business systems (ERP/MRP)
• Social/communication skills to interact with customers
• Willingness to get product knowledge
• Teamwork
• 3+ years experience in a similar position or in a commercial environment (technical support, quotations, technical sales)
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Additional language knowledge e.g. Italian /French /German/ Spanish
• Experience in business systems
• Experience in order processing and/or customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Good level of product knowledge
