Job Summary:

Diversified is looking to expand our team with a dynamic individual with a background in sales estimations and administration who wants to be a part of a new and growing team. The engineer will be expected to assist the Sales Estimations team with Experlogix administrative support and generate bills of material based on existing templates and client provided equipment specifications. Reporting and task review will take place with the GBS Manager and US-based Sales Support Group to drive completion. This candidate will have the opportunity to work on large, exciting project opportunities with senior engineers and account executives as well as gain knowledge and understanding of sales estimations and AV design.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Build BOMs from drawings and/or specification documents Price BOMs from design-build and/or specification documents Complete opportunity registration and/or request vendor quotes for special pricing Perform drawing takeoffs/compare quantities contained on wiring drawings against the detailed equipment list Complete labor budget worksheet and submit as baseline labor to Sales Support Group Transfer change orders from Excel to Experlogix with Project Team or Sales Support Group

 

Shift Requirements:

Gentle shift adjustment: 2 PM – 11 PM

 

Job Qualifications:

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Must have the ability to communicate regularly with the team in English 2-5 years of sales estimations in the audio-visual industry Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to communicate well with others remotely via video and audio conferencing Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as a team member on various projects Must be high energy, analytical, and detail oriented Good time management skills and ability to handle time deadline pressures
